Hi,

my name is Andrius and I’m a freelance mobile developer. I mostly work with Xamarin technology. I often have to write back-end software for my mobile apps so I use ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core Web API for that as well.

I started out about 6 years ago as an ActionScript 3.0 developer making AIR mobile apps. I coded in AS3 for about 2 or 3 years and then (fortunately) I switched to Xamarin. I won’t lie Xamarin is far better technology for mobile apps and I still love using it. From time to time I play around with web technologies too. Regardless of the fact that I like Xamarin I’m currently learning Swift because I believe in constant improvement and development. We will never be able to learn everything there is to know about software development but no one can stop us trying!

I also like creating modern and clean looking UI designs for mobile apps. I believe that  iOS human interface guidelines and Material design specification provides us plenty of information to construct gorgeous and quality UI design that will delight our users.

I blog mostly about C#, Xamarin or dotnet core related subjects. I might write some posts about my experience jumping to Swift from Xamarin.
